Nina Polien Light - Writer

Nina Polien Light earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in English from Case Western Reserve University. While serving as Supplements Editor of the Cleveland Jewish News, she won numerous writing and editing awards for work covering topics as diverse as home improvement, fashion, party planning, religious practices, coping with miscarriage, and First Amendment cases involving the Nation of Islam. More recently, Nina has focused on writing about business networking and the strengths of independently owned local businesses.

A lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio, Nina enjoys running, spinning, strength training, cooking, wine tasting, and solving Jumble puzzles. She lives in Solon with her husband and two youngest daughters. Her oldest daughter is a student at the University of Kansas. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
